Night Bloomers

No, this isn’t a post about comfy pants that are worn under jimmy-jams.

Much less interestingly it is just some photographs that I took of the garden blooms at night. These are not very good photographs, just snaps taken with a compact camera set to auto in one paw and a torch in the other paw. They are of the cherry plum blossom, quince, primroses and flowering currant.

I presume that they are visited by night flying pollinating insects, such as moths. You can plant a section of garden dedicated to specifically night flowering blooms. There is more information on this site here.
