I’m a little late, as the first day of geological spring was on 20th March 2015. However, I was busy yapping about the solar eclipse on that day.
As well as witnessing the eclipse, we mourned the death of winter and celebrated the birth of spring and new life. For more information and Ratz opinion about vernal equinoxes, please see this blog post here.
After failing miserably to get a decent picture of the solar eclipse, I padded around the garden to see what I could capture. Here is the usual line up of spring blossoms, primroses, cherry plum, quince and mahonia with a bumblebee as an added bonus.
