First thing this morning the sky was full of bubbly clouds, some of them pink, while the waning crescent moon glinted sleepily from under her cloud duvet.
Later we had thunder with torrential rain.

Shepherd’s warning and it’s a
marsh volunteers’ workday today.
Oh dear, it has been welly weather today.
I ate my lunch in the Middle Wood in rain today, but apart from that the weather has been fine. The lunchtime rain made the whole wood steam.
Perhaps most of it landed here! I bet the cattle steamed well too. I hope the day was a success.
Today I was pulling Himalayan balsam from the Middle Wood with Bill Foxall. Tomorrow it’s clearing the cattle bridge to the Rhombus Field and getting the cattle in there, which should be fun.
I’ll look forward to hearing all about it. Don’t forget to take some video 😉
