I seem to be living in the only part of the UK that has not had snow. I know a lot of people don’t like snow, but I consider it to be a rare treat. Consequently it all just seems grey and miserable at the moment. There is some light relief from the Winter Jasmine which is flowering at the moment (see this post here), and the quince is sprouting buds (see this post here).
When I lived in N England, some years we’d get v heavy snow, some years none at all. Still, it seems a bit mean, that the rest of UK has been blanketed, and left you dry!
Lovely to see bright little flowers in mid-winter though π
The North is currently picturesque π
hehe yes – I still have family there – was snowing as I skyped π
Only ten minute snow here, does that count?
Only if it sticks! π
ha ha, that’ll be a no then.
It taunts when it snows on you, but doesn’t prettify the ground.
