These lovely little dog violets are now sprouting up all over the lawn and paths.
Why does everything here grow on the paths and not on the garden? Anyhoo, I waxed lyrical about them before, in Blue Bloomers, if you wish to read more.

One of the first things to appear in the front garden when we moved here just over three years ago – in the flowerbeds, thankfully! I know they can be regarded as a bit of a nuisance but they are such good ground cover and a nice bit of colour early in the spring.
Yours are better behaved than mine! 🙂
Just luck, I think!
Nice 🙂 Now if they could just learn Where to grow! 🙂
Yep … 🙂
A blossoming path awaits, perhaps? 🙂
Yes, the path is very colourful 🙂
Mine grow in patches and spread like weeds, Well, it’s a beautiful weed.
It’s only a weed if you don’t want it 😉
These are gorgeous (and they grow on the path to catch your attention 🙂 )
That would be it 🙂
